Confusion!!!!! Life is Sacred or i am a part of a sacred life. The word sacred as per Webster’s dictionary is  “ worthy of religious veneration”, something Holy…. something to be respected, may be it is because we are the most advanced and still growing race. The phrase “Life is Sacred……..”, is mostly heard a lot of time from spiritual Gurus, elders, parents etc.

Have you noticed, that whenever someone doses something daring or out of the box, twe get to hear this sacred thing statement, I think it is to scare us and to convince us not to repeat it, Not to repeat, what is not normal for many as all don’t do and don’t think like you.

What I believe is that more or less everybody knows how sacred life is?  how special it is, and how preciously it should be kept, That’s why we don’t many daredevils.

Every moment of life should be cherished and taken care of, may be that’s the reason Why hospitals, beauty treatments, spa’s, gym and parks etc get a lot of foot fall. People taking that extra care of themselves, hmm it looks good but it made me realize that the crux of this whole taking care thing could be the fact that  we have become more self centered and selfish, since we know life is sacred.

There are many things and many ways which every now and then, tells us about life, its flows, its ups and downs, may by the examples of others life on TV, brooks, biographies etc, by the experience sharing sessions of others we get to know what happens in life, more or less the life of all of us flows in a similar pattern.

Though we know the basic fact of life and death, where the latter is still unknown, it is more like a fantasy which we know about death, for some it is moksha or to say a direct entry to the land of god, for some it is the end of the pain what they are suffering in life, and for a lot it is a fear, fear of loosing many materialistic desires, loved ones etc.

Thus this scared heart get involves itself into many things which would ensure a happy death i,e the good comfort zone post life. Now notice this thing we are more focused on the thing which we don’t know how it would come, or what would it be like, but still a human spends a major chunk of his\her life in preparations of after death thing eg. Visiting temples, conducting rituals, fasting, praying etc but no one works on improving the life which is at present, the handy thing by which you can do wonders.

I believe that if we have rs.100 in our wallet then we should only be focused on spending and saving it, but if I jump to make it either 0 or 1000, I am surely going to fall, explanation of this example is, that when we are alive, we should be focused on shaping our life in such a way which is good for us and for others, but if we spent it on things which are unseen, unknown and not under our control then it would be a sheer waste of life.

The most important thing which we don’t realize is the fact that a determined mind and committee soul can do wonders, and nothing can be a stopping factor, thus life is sacred, it is not only sacred coz we are born as humans, the said to be the best race, it is sacred coz who so ever is alive and living is alive and kicking.

All you need to do is decide “Sacred Life —- Or life is Sacred?”

Since last 24 years and 2 months I have done several things which have affected many things around me. I am born to believe that everything and everyone will end one day, and it is the fact of life which is to be accepted. This thought makes me and all of us more reluctant and casual about things, and as the time is passing by, as the population is growing, as development is coming up, as civilizations are formed ………………………… the casual attitude is resulting into causality

What ever is happening around us is happening because of us. I am no perfect; I am also a player of same ball game, the one who is hammering the nature, may be not deliberately, but some how I am, like you are.

In the recent past a lot of things have been seen, and they created a different kind of impact on my mindset. These things may not necessarily be associated with me, but they did leave their impact.

This impact is more than the impact which was created by the explosion at The Indian Embassy, coz that bomber exploded and killed a lot of innocent people (I don’t know if all died were innocent, but may be this is the best way to represent somebody after the death) and created a trauma, but the impact on my mind set is like a erupting volcano, which is killing me with zillions of questions every second oozing like hot and destructing lava, my mind is observing each and every activity I do, as if me, my body and my mind have become three separate entities, though in a same cocoon.

I am realizing that whatever odd is happening I am a contributor to it, may be not directly, but in some or the other way for sure.

Few things which I can enlist in my mind are.

1. Knowing someone who takes bribe and yet not exposing them
2. Using deodorant which contributes to the global warming
3. Driving vehicles and increasing pollution
4. Over eating knowing that there are several people who don’t even get one time meal

I also think that I am not in a position to create a paradigm shift, but what I can do is,  to undertake little changes in lifestyle, which would be my contribution to the society.

I hope in my this life, I can see a better world, where there is no terror, where there is equality, where there is peace and harmony, where there is happiness, where birds chirp, animals survive and humans have a quality life.
